The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) is a framework developed by the U.S. Department of Defense to ensure that organizations in the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) can adequately protect Federal Contract Information (FCI) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
The Cyber AB (formerly CMMC Accreditation Body) is the official accreditation body and sole authorized non-governmental partner of the U.S. Department of Defense in implementing and overseeing the CMMC conformance regime. The Cyber AB authorizes and accredits all organizations and individuals within the CMMC ecosystem.
